    One Pot Synthesis of Some New Pyrazole Containing Octahydroquinazolinone Derivatives Catalyzed by p- Toluenesulfonic Acid in Water

  • Abstract

    A novel green and efficient one-pot three component reaction synthesis of octahydroquinazolinone compounds (4a-l) in good yield has been reported. The methodology initially involved the formation of targeted compounds via reaction of a variety of pyrazolo carbaldehydes with dimedone and urea /thiourea in the presence of catalytic amount of p-TsOH in water. The structures of synthesized compounds were confirmed by spectral data.
