    Synthesis, Structural Studies of Zinc Doped in Cobalt Ferrite by Chemical Co-Precipitation Method

  • Abstract

    Magnetic nano particles of cobalt ferrite have various applications in scientific and industrial areas. Magnetic nano particles were prepared by chemical co-precipitation method. Zinc doped in cobalt ferrite with chemical formula Co1-xZn xFe2O4 with x= (0.15, 0.25, 0.5, 0.55, 0.7) was synthesized by chemical co-precipitation method. It confirmed the formation of single phase (fcc) spinel structure for all the compositions. The particle size (D311) decreases from 12.25 to 5.10 nm
