    Silica-Bonded N-Propyl Sulfamic Acid Catalyzed One-Pot Synthesis of Aryl-14-H-dibenzo[a,i]xanthenes

  • Abstract

    Aryl-14-H-dibenzo[a,i]xanthenes were synthesized efficiently by one-pot reaction of -naphthol, aldehydes and 2-hydroxy-1,4-naphthoquinone in the presence of silica-bonded N-propyl sulfamic acid (SBNPSA)
    at 120 oC without solvent. All products were characterized by 1H NMR, 13C NMR, MS techniques and elemental analysis.
