New tetrazole analogues with bio-active cores have been synthesized by a novel synthetic methodology. The synthesized compounds were characterized using FT-IR, MS, elemental analysis, 1H, 13C and HSQC NMR spectroscopic techniques. The synthesized compounds were screened for their antibacterial activities against Staphylococcus aureus, Escherichia coli, Vibreo cholerae, Pseudomonas aeruginosa and Klebsiella pneumonia. The synthesized compounds are showing very good activities against all the tested bacterial strains.
