| 4 | Description | Abstract | A new series of chalcones (3a-j) have been prepared by Claisen-Schmidt condensation between substituted acetophenone and substituted aldehyde. All these compounds were characterized by physical and spectral methods such as melting point, IR, 1H NMR and Mass analysis. All the synthesized compounds have been screened for their antimicrobial activity. |
