4DescriptionAbstract A simple and efficient method has been developed for the one pot cyclocondensation of heterocyclic aldehydes, β-ketoester and urea by using PTSA (p-Toluenesulfonic acid) as catalyst. This method has several advantages of excellent yield, inexpensive, short reaction time, ecofriendly and attractive for large scale synthesis.
