4DescriptionAbstract The refractive index and density of aqueous solutions of LiCl, NaCl and KCl have been measured at four different temperatures (298.15, 303.15, 313.15 and 318.15 K) in the concentration range of 0.01 to 0.1 molar. From the experimental values of density and refractive index molar refractions of electrolyte solution and electrolyte have been calculated. These data were also utilized to obtain the values of thermal expansion coefficient and polarizability using the relevant equations. The results of investigation were found to be satisfactory.
