4DescriptionAbstract An efficient and direct protocol is described for the preparation of 1-H-1,2,3,4 tetrazole by the reaction of primary amine, triethyl orthoformate and sodium azide in the presence of silica supported melamine tri sulphonic acid under heterogeneous condition. This procedure advantages such as greener route, simple methodology, easy work up, reusable catalyst and high yield.
