4 | Description | Abstract | Starting from the ester (methyl/ethyl) with hydrazine hydrate, a variety of new compounds 3-alkyl-5-(3’5’dimethyl-1-H-pyrazole-1!-yl)-1,2,4,-triazole (5a & 5b); 3-alkyl-5-(N-pyrazolidine)-amino-1,2,4-triazole (6a & 6b) and 2-alkyl-4-mercapto (1,2,4)-triazole (3,4-b) 1,3,4-triazole (7a & 7b) have been synthesized. All proposed structures were supported by IR, 1H-NMR, 13C NMR and elemental analysis. These newly synthesized compounds (5a & 5b-7a & 7b) have been screened for their antibacterial activity on E. coli, P. aeruginosa, S. aureus and S. pyrogenes and antifungal activity on C. albicans, A. niger and A. clavatus. |
