| 4 | Description | Abstract | A number of N'-[(2-chloro-6-methoxyquinolin-3-yl) methylidene]-substituted benzohydrazide have been synthesized by the treatment of 2-chloro-6-methoxy-3-quinolinecarbaldehyde with the substituted benzohydrazides. The structures of the synthesized compounds have been characterized by using IR and 1H NMR spectroscopy. These compounds were screened for their antibacterial as well as antifungal activity. Compounds show grater antibacterial activity as compare to antifungal activity. |
